The Tennessee Titans are adding some experience to their secondary ahead of training camp, reportedly signing former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Nazeeh Johnson.
Johnson is joining Tennessee after spending the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Chiefs.
Kansas City selected him in the seventh round (No.
259 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Marshall, and he went on to evolve into a useful depth piece in their secondary and on special teams under head coach Andy Reid and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
The 28-year-old appeared in 29 games for the Chiefs, racking up 66 combined tackles, three tackles for loss, three passes deflected, and one sack.
His best season came in 2024, when he played 16 games, including six starts.
He also won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs, in 2023 and 2024, adding a veteran player with championship pedigree to a young Titans team looking to turn things around.

The defense was the real problem, though.
Tennessee allowed 230.5 passing yards per game, the 10th-most in the league, and 28.1 points per game, the fifth-most.
That's part of the reason why head coach Brian Callahan was fired midseason, and why the franchise turned to Robert Saleh, a longtime defensive-minded coach, to take over.
