Oklahoma City Thunder standout Chet Holmgren has been ruled out for Saturday's road matchup against the Houston Rockets, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT. This will be the third straight absence for Holmgren, who is dealing with right knee patellar tendinitis.
The Thunder, currently 4-1, will also be missing Jalen Williams (left ankle surgery), Cason Wallace (left shoulder labral tear), Alex Caruso (right ankle sprain), Nikola Topić (low back surgery), and Thomas Sorber (right knee surgery). Both Williams and Wallace were injured during OKC's victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
Williams underwent successful surgery on Wednesday and will be re-evaluated at the end of the regular season. Wallace's return timeline will be determined after his surgical procedure.
