The Mustangs finished fourth in Pool H, which included Lubbock Christian.
The Eagles went 2-1 on Thursday but got third place on tiebreakers.
Cuero topped the pool, followed by Lorena.
LCHS beat WO-S 19-18 to start the day, followed by a 34-32 loss to Cuero.
Lorena edged the Eagles 20-13 in the finale.
LCHS takes on Austin LBJ in the opening round.
Olton was the Lubbock area's only other state qualifier.
The Mustangs, competing in D-III, went 0-3 in pool play.
That included losses to De Leon (32-20), West Rusk (30-19) and Van Vleck (18-12).
Olton will face Altair Rice at 8 a.m.
Friday in the first round of bracket play.
