In the second quarter of the game, Clark was caught flopping as she tried to draw a foul against her opponent after she was whistled for a foul herself.
The incident sparked outrage from the WNBA community, and a resurfaced video is now adding to that criticism.
Clark Caught Flopping During the second quarter of Sundays game, Clark was defending Aces guard Chelsea Gray as she drove to the basket.
As Gray drove to the rim, she made contact with Clark a few times, but the contact was far from excessive or extreme.
Eventually, Gray shot a fadeaway jumper, and Clark was whistled for a foul after she hit Gray on the arm.
However, immediately after the whistle, Clark collapsed to the ground as if she were in pain.
Given Clarks reaction, the referees reviewed the play for a potential hostile act.
However, as the replay clearly shows, there was no excessive contact, and Clark was simply acting to try to draw a foul.
Old Video Resurfaces While Clark received some widespread criticism for what appeared to be a clear flop in Sundays game, a resurfaced video shows that this is not the only time that she has been at the center of an incident like this.
After Sundays incident, a video from her college career at Iowa resurfaced, where Clark appeared to do the same thing she did on Sunday, hunching over and apparently trying to draw a foul well after the play concluded.
At a certain point you gotta call a spade.
