This week, were looking as the players most in danger of being cut during the preseason, and weve arrived at the Miami Dolphins.
Tahj Washington, WR The Dolphins might just have the worst wide receiver room in the NFL (though the Las Vegas Raiders might give them a run for their money), so getting cut from that group really says something.
The problem is Miami is stocked with mediocre wideouts, and there just isnt enough touches to go around for everyone.
Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, Jalen Reagor, Tutu Atwell, and Chris Bell the presumable locks, with Caleb Douglas, Kevin Coleman Jr., A.J.
Henning, and Terrace Marshall Jr.
possibly battling it out for one more spot.
Tahj Washington is just a victim of a numbers game.
Cameron Goode, LB With Jordyn Brooks, Tyrel Dodson, Willie Gay Jr., David Ojabo, and rookies Jacob Rodriguez and Trey Moore, the Dolphins are quite loaded at the linebacker position.
The problem for Cameron Goode is hes had three years to make an impact in Miami and simply hasnt.
Hes never logged more than 22 tackles in any season, and hes got just 29 total tackles and one pass defended to show for his tenure with the Dolphins.
Hes as good as gone.
Storm Duck, CB With Rasul Douglas and Jack Jones both playing for other teams, cornerback was a big area of need for the Dolphins heading into the offseason, which is why they used one of their two first-round picks to grab Chris Johnson to anchor the revamped secondary.
The lone returning CBs from last year who contributed anything meaningful are Juju Brents, Jason Marshall Jr.
and Ethan Bonner, and Miami has so much young talent Alex Austin, Darrell Baker Jr., Miles Battle, Ethan Robinson, Marco Wilson that Storm Duck may end up being the odd man out.
The fact that he played just two games last year certainly doesnt help his chances either.
