Steelers roster spotlight: Will Patrick Queen be traded?

There are a few players on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster who have been the subject of offseason rumors , but very few have been linked to as much trade speculation as linebacker Patrick Queen.

From now to the start of the regular season, we at Steelers Wire will be analyzing every player on the roster.

Here's a look at Queen and what could be in store for his 2026 season.

At a glance Height: 6-foot Weight: 232 pounds Age: 26 NFL experience: 7 Career with the Steelers After playing with the Baltimore Ravens from 2020 to 2023, Queen signed a three-year deal worth $41 million with the Steelers in March 2024.

Over the past two seasons with the Steelers, Queen has recorded 249 combined tackles, 14 tackles for loss, two sacks, and three forced fumbles.

Queen also earned the second Pro Bowl selection of his career in his debut season with Pittsburgh in 2024.

What's next in 2026? Although Queen was heavily linked to trade rumors earlier in the offseason, the Steelers are reportedly set to keep their Pro Bowl linebacker through the 2026 season.

In May, Queen dismissed the trade rumors as a "charade" and will look to get back to his playmaking self in a brand-new defense coached by DC Patrick Graham.
