Spurs make LeBron James decision that might not be popular to fans

LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, has made it known that he's interested in multiple teams after agreeing to part ways with the Los Angeles Lakers.

James, who has a real opportunity to go and make an impact on any contending team around the NBA, should still be wanted by many.

After his agent also showed 10 teams he could be interested in, including the San Antonio Spurs, and after previous reports suggested the former Los Angeles star could be interested in playing in San Antonio, there was reason to believe James could end up in San Antonio.

However, reports indicated that the Spurs aren't expected to be interested in him, and according to the latest, that continues to be the case.

The Stein Line reported earlier this week (above) that the Spurs who struck a deal Wednesday to sign Tobias Harris away from Detroit were not expected to join the LeBron chase.

That continued to be the expectation entering the holiday weekend even after the Spurs were mentioned by Paul on his podcast among 10 realistic destinations, Jake Fischer wrote.

I somewhat agree that adding James to the Spurs' roster wouldn't make much sense at this point.

Not that he isn't still a very good player, but he probably wants to come in and still be one of the top options.

Unfortunately for James and the Spurs at this point in his career, he just isn't that any longer.
