Portnoy may have been taking a dig at Rubin, knowing it was Paul all along.
Just a couple of days earlier at the Fanatics Fest 2026 in New York City, Brady ended up slapping Paul when both came face-to-face on the stage.

Now, though, their public sniping has included Portnoy being left off the White Party guest list.
The party is put on by Rubin, a billionaire entrepreneur, in the Hamptons in New York state.
It is attended by athletes, celebrities, business leaders, and musicians.
This party has an all-white dress code, which ties into the partys name.
The White Party takes place in the summertime, too.

Paul also was there along with WWE wrestler Roman Reigns and company executive Nick Khan.
This is not just another party, though.
Some view this as a cultural event where leaders from across different genres and businesses gather together.
Every year that the White Party takes place, its known as one of the highlights in the busy social calendar that rolls around every summer in the Hamptons, too.
Portnoy wanted to be included among the exclusive invitees, but his banned status will not allow that to happen even into the future.
Besides being a Super Bowl-winning quarterback, Brady also is a minority owner in the Las Vegas Raiders franchise.
Hes been integrally involved with the Raiders, even reportedly being involved in the Raiders selection of Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza out of Indiana.
Mendoza led the Hoosiers to the College Football Playoff national championship last season under head coach Curt Cignetti.
What will happen between Brady and Paul? Who knows.
It looks like, though, the dust-up between Portnoy and Rubin will continue for some time to come.
