Arkansas secured its second consecutive exhibition victory in the Baha Mar Summer League on Saturday, overpowering Carleton University with a 98-58 final score in Nassau. The Ravens initially kept pace, but the Razorbacks surged ahead, establishing a 25-point lead by halftime after Jordan Smith Jr. drained a three-pointer at the buzzer.
Smith, the No. 2 overall recruit in the Class of 2026, delivered a standout performance in his second exhibition outing with the Razorbacks. The guard posted a triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, while also contributing four steals on the defensive end.
Assistant coach Ronnie Wilkinson, who spoke to Smith before the game, emphasized the high expectations placed on the young star. "I told him before the game, be the best player in the country," Wilkinson said. "That's what you are. You do everything on the court. He's going to come out there and prove it to y'all every single game that he can do everything on the court."

Head coach John Calipari has a proven track record of developing elite talent, having sent Darius Acuff and Meleek Thomas to the NBA after one season at Arkansas. Smith, projected as a potential top-five pick or even the No. 1 overall selection in the 2027 NBA Draft, appears poised to follow that path, though Razorback fans might hope he stays longer.
