A baseball party broke out at Autzen Stadium in Eugene on Saturday as over 60,000 Banana Ball fans packed the home of the Oregon Ducks football team as the Savannah Bananas made their Oregon debut.
Choreographed dancing, singing, stunts, home runs and trick plays delighted the sold-out crowd, which at one point participated in a stadium-wide wave that stretched the length of an entire inning.
Originally a collegiate summer team in Savannah, Georgia, in 2016, the Bananas have blossomed into an internet sensation and one of the countrys most popular live attractions.
The Bananas, which refer to Banana Ball as the greatest show in sports, have garnered millions of followers across multiple social media platforms and packed MLB, NFL and college football stadiums.
Fans of Banana Ball will have one more chance to catch the action at Autzen Stadium when the Bananas once again face the Party Animals at 1 p.m.
on Sunday (airing on ABC).
