Ryan Fitzpatrick Unleashes Scathing Critique of Bo Nix Despite Broncos' Overtime Win

The Denver Broncos secured a 17-14 overtime victory against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, improving their record to 4-2. However, quarterback Bo Nix's performance drew sharp criticism despite the win.

Nix completed 17 of 27 passes for just 107 yards, marking one of his least productive outings. His play has been a focal point of criticism throughout the season, and Amazon analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick delivered a passionate critique, questioning Nix's competitiveness.

Fitzpatrick did not hold back, stating, "Bo Nix is not playing competitively. It's almost disrespectful to the quarterback position how he's playing football. The guy doesn't want to throw the ball. He has no trust from his coach. He's not playing competitive football."

Last season, Nix helped lead the Broncos to the AFC Championship, but an injury late in the game prevented him from participating in that matchup. In six games this season, he has thrown for 1,049 yards, 6 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. Notably, in four of those games, he has passed for 186 yards or fewer. His 107-yard effort on Thursday was the second-lowest of his career, trailing only a 60-yard game against the Jets during his rookie year.

Denver entered the season considered a legitimate Super Bowl contender, largely due to one of the league's top defenses. Their two losses came against the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, two of the three remaining undefeated teams in the NFL.

For now, Nix remains the starting quarterback in Denver, but his struggles are becoming a major storyline in the NFL.
