One Buffalo Bills Rookie Who Could Win a Starting Job Out of Camp

With teams on their month-long break from mid-June to mid-July in between minicamp and training camp, weve reached the deadest point of the NFL offseason.

But fortunately for football fans, theres just three weeks left before training camp kicks off, followed by the preseason and regular season, which starts the week of Sept.

7.

Until then, weve done training camp previews and analyzed the top position battle to watch for all 32 teams.

Next up in our offseason series is looking at one rookie from every team who could win a starting job in training camp this season, and today were looking at the Buffalo Bills.

Buffalos 2026 Draft Class - T.J Parker, DE, Round 2 - Davison Igbinosun, CB, Round 2 - Jude Bowry, OT, Round 4 - Skyler Bell, WR, Round 4 - Kaleb Elarms-Orr, LB, Round 4 - Jalon Kilgore, S, Round 5 - Zane Durant, DT, Round 5 - Toriano Pride Jr., CB, Roun 7 - Tommy Doman, P, Round 7 - Armaj Reed-Adams, OG, Round 7 With Bradley Chubb and Greg Rousseau expected to be Buffalos top pass-rushers, T.J.

Parker faces some stiff competition from Mike Dana, Michael Hoecht, and Landon Jackson along the defensive line.

If not for that, Parker would be the pick here, so well go with Davison Igbinosun instead.

Christian Benford is Buffalos unquestioned No.

1 cornerback, but its a guessing game how the depth chart shakes out behind him.

Last years first-round pick Maxwell Hairston may be the logical choice to slot in behind Benford, but thats not a given.

Former Atlanta Falcons CB Dee Alford also figures to factor into the mix as well, but Igbinosun should be a real threat to take the job as well.

A first-team All-Big Ten selection and national champion, Igbinosun excels in coverage.

He allowed just a 47.8 completion percentage last season and surrendered 207 yards and zero touchdowns om 363 coverage snaps, per Pro Football Focus.

Over four college seasons (three with Ohio State, one with Ole Miss) Igbinosun allowed a completion percentage of 53 with 19 pass break ups, four interceptions, and a passer rating against of 76.7.

Given the Bills issues in the secondary last season, a strong cover corner like Igbinosun could carve out a real role for himself with a strong showing in training camp.
