The OKC Thunder is trading Lu Dort to the Atlanta Hawks in a three-team deal, ESPN's Shams Charania first reported Sunday.
OKC will receive three second-round picks from Atlanta, which will receive Dort and Dallas Mavericks guard Ryan Nembhard.
Dallas will then receive Atlanta forward Zaccharie Risacher.
Dort is one of the biggest success stories in OKC's franchise history.
After going undrafted in 2019, he developed into an All-Defensive first team guard.
He averaged 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists throughout his seven seasons with the Thunder.
Dort will now rejoin Aaron Wiggins, who OKC traded to Atlanta earlier this offseason in exchange for two second-round picks.
It also traded Isaiah Joe to the Detroit Pistons for two second-round picks.
Those moves helped the Thunder shed $224 million in luxury tax penalties this offseason and stay underneath the second apron.
