MLB Draft projections for LSU baseball star Derek Curiel, others MLB Draft week has arrived.

The two-day, 20-round event will take place this weekend in Philadelphia alongside MLB's annual All-Star Weekend, beginning Saturday (Noon, NBC).

The first 10 picks of the 2026 MLB Draft will air on NBC and stream on Peacock while the rest of the draft will stream on MLB.com.

For LSU baseball, it may not have as deep of a draft class as it has had in the recent past.

Sophomore outfielder Derek Curiel is far and away the top prospect for the Tigers who surprised many two years ago by going to LSU out of high school instead of signing with a pro team.

Other recent developments for current LSU is shortstop Steven Milam opting to pull his name out of the draft and return to campus for his senior season.

And all eyes in Baton Rouge are watching outfielder Jake Brown and what he might decide.

He's currently projected as a second-round draft pick.
