The Minnesota Gophers mens basketball team is adding an opponent from another Power 6 conference to its schedule.
Minnesota announced Wednesday that it will face Cincinnati in a home-and-home series starting this season.
Cincinnati currently plays in the Bg 12, where it went 18-15 last season.
The Bearcats missed the NCAA Tournament last season and mutually parted ways with coach Wes Miller, replacing him with Jerrod Calhoun.
The Gophers will play at Cincinnati on Nov.

The Bearcats will visit Minnesota during the 2027-28 season.
Novembers matchup will be the first between the two teams since 2006.
