Mavericks acquire former No. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher in three-team trade, reports say

The Mavericks have acquired another former No.

1 pick.

Dallas is acquiring forward Zaccharie Risacher, the No.

1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft, from the Atlanta Hawks as part of a three-team deal that sends guard Ryan Nembhard to Atlanta, according to multiple reports.

The move reportedly sends Oklahoma City Thunder wing Lu Dort to Atlanta in exchange for three second-round picks.

ESPN was the first to report the move.

One of the second-round picks going to Oklahoma City is a 2027 pick from Chicago via Dallas, according to a report from Jake Fischer.

Risacher, 21, joins a Mavericks roster that already has two former No.

1 overall picks in Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving.

The Mavericks also had three No.

1 picks on the roster to start last season before trading Anthony Davis to Washington in February.

Over the first two seasons of his career, Risacher has averaged 11.1 points on 45.7% shooting from the floor and 36% shooting from three.
