Lewis County High School golfer Kenzie Egress eyes college future as local sport booms

ROANOKE, W.Va.

Incoming Lewis County High School senior Kenzie Egress is a multi-sport athlete who plays golf, basketball and tennis, but her true passion lies on the golf course.

Egress has been a standout for the Minutemen since transferring to LCHS during her sophomore year.

Now, she is on the course almost daily, preparing for her final high school season with hopes of playing Division I college golf.

Egress, whom head coach Kenny James described as a long ball hitter, is working to round out her game this summer on the Arnold Palmer Course at Stonewall Resort.
