A man was arrested on a felony stalking charge after he was found loitering outside the Los Angeles home of former Lakers standout LeBron James, according to police.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the property around 9 p.m. on Friday following a radio call about a possible burglary suspect, authorities told The Post. Upon arrival, officers located the individual and took him into custody for felony stalking.
James' security team initially noticed the suspect, TMZ reported. When confronted by police, the man claimed to be the son of the 41-year-old James, according to the outlet.
James has three children: Bronny James, a guard for the Los Angeles Lakers; Bryce James, a guard for the Arizona Wildcats; and daughter Zhuri.
The NBA icon, who signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in July, was not at the residence when the incident occurred. He was in Cleveland playing against the Cavaliers on Friday night.
Under California law, stalking is defined as willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly following or willfully and maliciously harassing another person, which suggests the suspect had prior involvement with James.
James also owns a large compound in Beverly Hills that is currently under construction.
