The New York Knicks secured the franchise's first NBA title since 1973 with a 2026 NBA Finals victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
While Finals MVP Jalen Brunson shouldered most of the load in the championship series, he was assisted by several key New York role players.
On Thursday, the Knicks agreed to re-sign one of those role players: Jordan Clarkson.
Clarkson joined the Knicks prior to the 2025-26 season.
The 34-year-old guard averaged 8.6 points per game in the regular season and 4.9 points per game in the playoffs.
Clarkson will return to New York on a one-year, $3.9 million deal, according to a report from ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania.
