The Indiana Fever star was not among the participants the league announced Tuesday, July 21 for Friday's contest at All-Star weekend in Chicago.
Clark declined her invitation, USA TODAY first reported.
No reason was given.
Clark was not the only player to decline.
Minnesota's Kayla McBride turned down an invitation, according to ESPN, and reigning champion Sabrina Ionescu also said no.
The New York Liberty star's 37-point round remains the highest score in the event's history, including the NBA version.
Clark will still be in the main event on Saturday, July 25.
She drew 1,023,321 fan votes, second-most in the league, and will captain Team Spoon, named after Hall of Famer Teresa Weatherspoon, in the All-Star Game at 8:30 p.m.
ET at the United Center.
The contest will go on without Clark for the third straight year.
She said no as a rookie in 2024.
Last summer, she committed to it, as the All-Star Game was in the Fever's own building, but a groin injury knocked her out days before the event.
Indiana teammate Lexie Hull shot in her place.
She has also passed on the NBA 's pitch for a men's-versus-women's shootout at its All-Star Game.
Clark comes into the break playing some of the best basketball of her life.
She was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week after becoming the first player in WNBA history with 45 points and 10 assists in Friday's 110-107 win over Seattle.
She's averaging 20.7 points and 7.8 assists per game.
No Fever player will shoot in the contest Friday.
Aliyah Boston and Sophie Cunningham, among the league's leaders at 43.7% from three, were not included in the field, which features No.1 overall draft pick Azzi Fudd.
The 3-point contest is Friday in Chicago.
The All-Star Game follows on Saturday.
