How did former Wisconsin center Steven Crowl do in NBA Summer League?

The Wisconsin Badgers have had several former players look to make their case on why they deserve a spot in the NBA.

Center Steven Crowl is no different.

After five years with the Badgers , Crowl averaged 9.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2 assists on a 52.5% field goal rate.

While Crowl went undrafted in the 2025 cycle, he soon found a home with the Utah Jazz , who brought him on thanks to an Exhibit 10 contract for the 2025 season.

Crowl did not see a minute of NBA action, but with Utahs G-League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, Crowl averaged 6 points with a strong 69.9% field goal percentage.

Not only that, but he also averaged 6.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

Heading into the 2026 NBA Summer League, Crowl signed a Summer League deal with the Detroit Pistons , where he averaged 1.7 points, 3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 13 minutes per game.

As of publishing, Crowl has not been signed by the Pistons or any other organization , but there is every chance Crowl will spend another year plying his trade in the G-League, waiting for his shot.
