Longtime ESPN broadcaster Karl Ravech is reportedly being laid off after spending more than 30 years with the network.
The Athletics Andrew Marchand reported Tuesday morning that Ravech is out at ESPN.
Ravech joined the network in 1993.
Before that, Ravech worked for ABC27 in Harrisburg with late sports director Gregg Mace.
Years ago, ESPN featured his poem capturing the feel of the Little League World Series in Williamsport.
The news about Ravech comes after former Pittsburgh Steelers star Ryan Clark was laid off by ESPN Monday afternoon.
Ravech has called MLB games, the College World Series, the Little League World Series, college basketball and more for ESPN.
He has also hosted Baseball Tonight and worked as a SportsCenter anchor.
Ravech was on the call for the Phillies vs.
Dodgers game Monday night on ESPN.
The Phillies earned a 10-7 victory.
Marchand reached out to ESPN and Ravech Tuesday morning for comment.
ESPN declined to comment, while Ravech said that he had yet to be told that he was being let go.
On Monday, ESPN informed Ryan Clark in the midst of NFL Live that he was being laid off because news of his job loss was being leaked to the media.
ESPN opted to tell Clark the news mid-show to ensure that he didnt read it online before being told directly, Marchand reports.
Clark joined ESPN in 2015.
