It's Friday, and that means we're officially one week closer to the start of Atlanta Falcons training camp.
The rookies will report to Flowery Branch, Georgia next Friday, and the veterans will arrive a few days later.
The team's first practice will take place on July 29.
While it hasn't been a very eventful week for the 32 NFL teams, including the Falcons, we still managed to find enough content to help get you through another Friday afternoon.
In today's Falcons Wire Recap, Bleacher Report questions the vibes around Atlanta, The Athletic expresses doubts about Kevin Stefanski, and four players make PFN's Top 100 list ahead of the 2026 season.
B/R highlights Falcons' question marks ahead of camp According to Brad Gagnon at Bleacher Report, the one word to best describe the vibe for the Falcons going into training camp this year is " guarded ," as in guarded optimism, but the number of question marks is bringing the vibes down.
"New coach, new potential starting quarterback and plenty of talent on both sides of the ball," wrote Gagnon.
"But there are still so many question marks surrounding this team that the vibe falls short of unbridled optimism." The Athletic not buying Falcons, Stefanski The Athletic put out a new feature predicting the over/under on win totals for all 32 teams around the league this year.
Atlanta was predicted for under 6.5 wins , citing a lack of confidence in head coach Kevin Stefanski.
"I am not a Kevin Stefanski guy when were the Browns ever good on offense? and there is an image of Garrett rolling his eyes at a Stefanski speech that lives rent free in my head," wrote Vic Tafur.
"The offensive guru is probably excited about working with Bijan Robinson and Drake London, but Michael Penix Jr.
and Tua Tagovailoa not so much.
The defense overachieved last season to win eight games, and it doesnt seem wise to count on that again.
This might be a sneaky bottom-five roster talent-wise." 4 Falcons make PFN's Top 100 Players list Pro Football Network released its NFL Top 100 player rankings and four Falcons officially made the cut.
Running back Bijan Robinson led the way at No.
38 overall, followed by safety Jessie Bates III at No.
51.
"With 13 interceptions since 2023, Bates is tied for third among all NFL players with the most picks in that span," wrote PFN.
"He's been a playmaker in coverage ever since he got drafted by Cincinnati in 2018, tallying 27 interceptions in eight seasons in the league.
There's no denying the impact he's made on the secondaries he's played for." Drake London ranked 10th-best WR by PFF Pro Football Focus analysts Dalton Wasserman and Max Chadwick released their 2026 wide receiver rankings and Falcons star Drake London just barely cracked the top 10.
Here's what PFF wrote about London.
"London is showing why the Falcons selected him with the No.
8 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft," wrote PFF.
"His 91.4 PFF receiving grade over the past two seasons ranks fifth in the NFL, as do his 16 receiving touchdowns during that span.
At 6-foot-4, London is a matchup nightmare, ranking third in the NFL with 35 contested catches over the past two seasons." Anonymous NFL coordinator praises Falcons rising star While Xavier Watts did not make ESPN's top 10 safeties of 2026, he received some love in the honorable mentions section.
An anonymous NFL coordinator praised the second-year safety's elite upside to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
"He has a chance to be one of the best safeties in the league.
[He] has very similar qualities to his running mate [Bates]," the coordinator told Fowler.
It's safe to say that most Falcons fans agree.
