6 recruit in the nation heading into his freshman season at the NCAA level, right behind the five players who were taken in that order in the '26 draft.
But a clogged frontcourt and Cenac being asked to eschew key big man skills like shot blocking combined to create an underwhelming campaign with Houston, and helped him slide to Boston's range.
Now, he is looking like one of the better prospects at the NBA's 2026 Las Vegas Summer League, and appears ready to bring his intense work ethic to the Celtics to go with that jump-out-the-gym athleticism.
