Daniel Jones' Girlfriend Nicole Elattrache: Ex-Duke Volleyball Player and Daughter of Celebrity Surgeon

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones is romantically involved with Nicole Elattrache, a former volleyball athlete at Duke University whose father is a well-known figure in the sports world.

Jones, now in his eighth NFL season and second as the Colts' starting signal-caller, has revitalized his career in Indianapolis after being released by the New York Giants midway through the 2024 season.

Given his regular appearances on NFL broadcasts, Jones' personal life has drawn considerable attention, especially after it became public that his girlfriend has a famous parent.

Nicole Elattrache played volleyball at Duke, where she and Jones both studied from 2015 to 2018. Despite their shared college history, the two were not linked romantically until May 2026, when Elattrache shared a photo of them arm-in-arm on her Instagram story to celebrate Jones' 29th birthday.

That revelation occurred two months after Jones inked a two-year, $88 million contract to stay with the Colts through the 2027 season.

Elattrache's Instagram profile boasts over 15,000 followers and more than 100 posts, mostly featuring glimpses of her daily life, family gatherings, and vacations. Since news of their relationship surfaced, she has posted only one slideshow, which did not include the NFL quarterback. The bulk of her content dates back to the 2010s and early 2020s.

After Elattrache made their relationship public, fans quickly identified her father as Dr. Neal Elattrache, a highly respected orthopedic surgeon who has performed operations on many professional athletes following severe injuries.

At 66, Elattrache has operated on NFL stars such as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Joe Burrow; NBA players like Kobe Bryant and Jamal Murray; and MLB standouts including Shohei Ohtani, Bryce Harper, and Clayton Kershaw. He is frequently mentioned in news reports when a pro athlete undergoes major surgery.

Based at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California, Elattrache also serves as the official team physician for the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jones, who has endured two significant lower-body injuries in his NFL career—a torn ACL in 2023 and a torn Achilles in 2025—has never been operated on by Elattrache. Both of Jones' surgeries were performed in New York, though only one occurred during his time with the Giants.

The family's celebrity connections extend further: Neal Elattrache is also a brother-in-law of actor Sylvester Stallone, who is married to Jennifer Flavin, the sister of Neal's wife, Tricia.
