Cosm to Launch Immersive Sports Venue in Detroit This Fall

LANSING, Mich. — A new immersive sports viewing experience is set to debut in Detroit this fall. Cosm announced Thursday that it will open its fourth venue in downtown Detroit on September 10, joining existing locations in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. A Cleveland venue is scheduled to follow.

The 70,000-square-foot, three-level venue features an 87-foot diameter 12K+ LED Dome, wall-to-wall sportsbook-like LED displays in The Hall, and a rooftop Deck with fresh air access overlooking downtown. Lounge-style booths and in-seat service will offer premium food and beverage options delivered directly to guests.

Cosm's Shared Reality experience aims to bridge virtual and physical worlds, combining a stadium-like atmosphere with crowd energy, elevated dining, and exceptional visuals. The venue transports fans to prime seats for events such as the College Football Playoffs, NBA Finals, U.S. Open, or Premier League matches.

Key Analysis

The first public event at Cosm Detroit will be the San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams game in Australia on September 10 at 8:30 p.m. The first local sports team featured will be Michigan football against Oklahoma on September 12.
