Cooper Kupp's Two-Word Rallying Cry After Seahawks' Heartbreaking Loss to 49ers

Cooper Kupp's Two-Word Rallying Cry After Seahawks' Heartbreaking Loss to 49ers

Following the Seattle Seahawks' narrow 32-29 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5, wide receiver Cooper Kupp made his feelings known with a brief but powerful social media post.

Kupp shared a sharp, motivational message on X, advocating for a forward-looking mindset after the tough loss to a bitter division rival. His post was simple: "Back to work." He then added, "Eyes forward."

The defeat was especially painful for Seattle, as the team slipped to 3-2 on the season. The 49ers secured the win when kicker Eddy Pineiro nailed a 44-yard field goal, putting San Francisco up 32-29 with less than two minutes remaining.

The game's ending was shrouded in controversy. Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold connected with Kupp on a fourth-and-10 play with 54 seconds left. Kupp lunged toward the first-down marker, but officials ruled him short, and the call was upheld after review.

Despite the frustration, the Seahawks remain very much in the NFC West race with a 3-2 record.

They now face a short week, traveling to take on the Denver Broncos on Thursday night in Week 6, followed by another challenging matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7.

Kupp will have a chance to help Seattle improve to 4-2 next week and build momentum for their showdown with the Chiefs, who have been rolling early in the season.

So far this year, Kupp has recorded 11 receptions for 129 yards and one touchdown.
