For just the third occasion in program history, ESPN's College GameDay will broadcast from Bloomington, Indiana, on Saturday, Oct. 31, ahead of the Week 9 matchup between No. 4 Indiana and unranked Minnesota. The game stands out in a week light on marquee matchups for the popular pregame show.
Indiana will aim for a stronger offensive showing than in last week's 13-6 overtime victory at Michigan. Quarterback Josh Hoover, who played through an injury to his throwing arm, completed only 8 of 18 passes for 81 yards and threw an interception in the win.
Minnesota enters the contest after a 13-10 win over then-No. 14 Iowa on Oct. 24 and already owns a victory over Michigan this season.
Key Analysis
The Hoosiers have a 1-1 record in their two previous GameDay appearances in Bloomington: a 49-21 loss to Ohio State in 2017 and a 31-17 win over Washington in 2024. Overall, Indiana is 5-2 when featured on the show, including a perfect 4-0 mark in 2025, with all of those games occurring either on the road or in the College Football Playoff.
Looking ahead, ESPN has numerous options for Week 10, such as Utah-BYU in Salt Lake City, Alabama-LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, or Miami at No. 6 Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
The Week 9 edition of College GameDay will air live on ESPN from 9 a.m. ET to noon ET on Saturday, Oct. 31, originating from Indiana's campus. Streaming is available via the ESPN app and Fubo, which offers a free trial to potential subscribers.
