Broome, selected 35th overall by the 76ers in the 2025 NBA Draft, struggled to find a consistent role in Philadelphia. He spent most of his rookie season with the Delaware Blue Coats, the team's G League affiliate, appearing in 26 games. In the G League, Broome averaged 21.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists over 32.8 minutes per contest. However, his rookie campaign was cut short by a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee.
