Cioccos AEW Dynamite Beach Break Review 7.8.26 SICKOS! Its Wednesday, and I need a break, a Spring Break in fact, and luckily for all of us, Tony Khan and AEW will provide it to us tonight! Coming to us live from the BayCare Sound in Clearwater Beach, Florida, tonights card is chockfull of PPV-caliber matches proving that, yet again, our best friend Tony loves to spoils us fans until we are rotten! For more on tonights show, lets roll the Headlines! So, how are we doing on this Hump Day? I think I mentioned this once or twice before, but I have enjoyed every season of Darkside of the Ring, and now that season seven is upon us, I will giddy with joy yet again.
I just find the material compelling and some of the stories are so wild that they could have been submitted to Ripleys Believe it or Not! On the sports side of things, the Flyers are trying to get an early jump on breaking the NHL after they offered Anaheims Leo Carlsson a 5-year 90-million dollar offer sheet.
Given that the sport has FINALLY seen a growth in the salary cap after years of stagnation, this was going to happen at some point, so Danny Briere just got ahead of the inevitable.
The Fever continue to win even without CC22 and are better defensively somehow for it, while the Phillies continue a Jekyll and Hyde approach to the game, although they are two games out of first in the NL East.
But enough about me and enough about you, lets get ready to make the Dynamite go BOOM! Image Credit: allelitewrestling.com I NEED A BREAK, I NEED A SPRING BEACH BREAK! Tonight, Beach Break Dynamite is LIVE from Clearwater Beach, Florida! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz are on the call for us! Kenny Omega is ready for tonights main event! He speaks to Renee with his personal trainer Michael Naka...Naka...Nakazawa! Omega says this is do or die and his back is against the wall.
But thats where he does his best work.
On the Indies, not in AEW and in New Japan.
Kenny says that the Bucks arent here, only his good friend Michael, because he has proven that he can do this on his own.
If this is in fact the end, then he will stick out his hand and he will shake MJFs hand.
But Kenny wonders if MJF is ready for this.
That ring is going to be 102 degrees out there; can you handle that? There is a spot in the main event of the biggest show of the year online, and he hasnt worked 27 years to get to this point just to give up now.
So, until the main event, Kenny must bid us adieu, so goodnight, MUAH, and goodnight, BANG! My Shadow Knows My Story! Jericho vs.

WINNER: Tommaso Ciampa TIME: 13:50 THOUGHTS: A pretty good match to open the show.
Ciampa winning was the right call, as it does nothing for Jericho if he wins.
But I feel like we arent done quite yet.
RATING: ***1/2 Ever the poor loser, Ciampa brings a chair into the ring, and he smacks Jericho in the head with it.
Ciampa goes under the ring, and he has a tool bag.
He empties it out until he finds the power drill! He threatens Paul Turner and Aubrey Edwards with it, but here is security to do their job.
Wait, for real, Ciampa leaves? Damn, they did do their job lol.

Ospreay says SHIT, because MJF is here.
He makes fun of Ospreay looking for the love and affection of Moxley and he mocks them with an Oliver Twist line lol.
MJF says that he is going to break Ospreays neck in London in front of all of his countrymen, and he is going to enjoy it.
Ospreay tells MJF that he mixed up his mouthwash and cat piss and tells him to take two steps back lol.
He calls MJF a beggar, and he says that he knows 14-year-old Japanese girls who wrestler better than him.
So, until he proves that he is in fact the best, he is not in the discussion.
MJF spits on Ospreay as Renee runs for the hills.
A brawl breaks out, and security is VERY busy tonight, as they break the guys up.
MJF says that Omega is a dead man, and what the blood is on Wills hands.

Despite that, this match obviously delivered the goods, even if another title is heading to the DCF.
RATING: ****1/4 Post-match, Don Callis Family members are here to celebrate with Kyle, while Conglomeration members are here to check on Takeshita.

Mick says that was one of the finest matches that he has ever seen, and Foley wants him to take him through his mindset and how it feels to beat his former best friend.
Fletcher says he has to stop Mick right there, because Takeshita was never his best friend, and he was number one in ProtoShida, and all Takeshita did was hold him back.

So, if you want one so bad, then if you can beat Jake Doyle, then you can get into the ring with the meatgrinder known as Mark Davis! Andrade calls him El Stupido, and he says that he will take that offer and he will take the title.
But he has one question for us...WHATS FOR DINNER HOW YOU KNOW? Andrade eggs on the DCF members, who chase him up the ramp.

WINNERS: Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay TIME: 8:30 THOUGHTS: Two weeks in a row on Dynamite now where Moxley and Ospreay have bounded and defeated ROH talent, although IIRC, I think they took less time to win tonight than they did last week.
