Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has been voted as the top head coach in the NFL, according to the Associated Press.
Reid, a three-time Super Bowl champion, received the top nod in APs preseason poll for the fourth consecutive year.
Voting was conducted by panel of eight AP NFL writers which ranked their top five coaches in the league entering the 2026 season.
Reid received five first-place votes, one second-place vote and was not included on two ballots.
He 149-64 record in the regular season and 18-8 in the postseason in 13 seasons as Kansas Citys head coach.
Behind Reid in the rankings was Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay, who placed second with the remaining three first-place votes.
Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald placed third on the list just months after he led the Seahawks to win Super Bowl LX this past February.
The top five head coaches in the NFL entering the 2026 season, according to AP, are: - Andy Reid, Chiefs - Sean McVay, Rams - Mike Macdonald, Seahawks - Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco 49ers - Sean Payton, Denver Broncos Also receiving votes were Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh, New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and Chicago Bears coach Ben Johnson.
