Proceeds benefit the critical care teams at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo, with 100% of donations going directly to care for local children and families.

During a gathering after the golf outing, Allen addressed participants and champion children, sharing how becoming a father has deepened his empathy. 'Having my daughter, I look at you parents differently, because I can picture myself in that situation now,' he said, his voice breaking. 'I know that feeling of holding your son or daughter and wanting to take away every pain they may feel.'
Allen praised the children as 'heroes' and 'inspirational,' noting that the fund was created not just to support kids but also to help families enduring difficult times. 'This year has just been so different, and I can't really put into words what it means,' he added.
The Patricia Allen Fund was established after Allen's standout performance on November 8, 2020, when he threw for 415 yards and four touchdowns in a 44-34 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Since then, the fund has grown significantly, supported by community generosity and events like the golf outing.
