The Boston Bruins have revealed the roster they will deploy for Thursday night's preseason road matchup against the Philadelphia Flyers. The game marks Boston's third of the exhibition slate.
Up front, the Bruins will dress forwards Alex Steeves, Brendan Gaunce, James Hagens, Brian Halonen, Ivan Ivan, Sean Kuraly, Joey Abate, Dans Locmelis, Riley Duran, Attilio Biasca, Lukas Reichel, Mikey Eyssimont, and Jake Schmaltz.
On the blue line, Henri Jokiharju, Frederic Brunet, Jordan Harris, Jonathan Aspirot, Billy Sweezey, Ty Gallagher, and Charlie McAvoy will suit up. Between the pipes, Michael DiPietro and Jiri Patera are the goaltenders.
So far this preseason, Boston holds a perfect 2-0 record. On Sunday night, the Bruins secured a 3-2 shootout victory over the Washington Capitals. McAvoy tied the game with less than two minutes remaining in regulation, and Hagens netted the decisive goal in the shootout.
In their second exhibition game on Tuesday night, the Bruins dominated the Flyers at home, winning 5-1. A four-goal third period powered the offensive outburst. Forward Morgan Geekie, Halonen, forward Elias Lindholm, and Eyssimont (two goals) found the back of the net for Boston.
Following Thursday night's contest, the Bruins will play one final preseason game at Washington on Friday night. Boston then opens its 2026-27 regular season on Tuesday night at home against the New York Rangers. Puck drop is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
