Boston Celtics rookie Chris Cenac Jr. is VERY confident (except vs. Mazzulla in the ring)

New Boston Celtics big man Chris Cenac Jr.

is not shy about his game, which became evident in a hurry when the Houston alum spent a few minutes in an interview with reporter Justin Turpin and the folks behind the "WEEI Boston Sports Original" YouTube channel, who put together a clip of the chat to help us get to know the La Place, Louisiana native better.

To that point, when asked who he had on his all-time Celtics starting five, he was sure to put himself at the 4 spot.

And as if that bravado wasn't enough, he did the same with his all-time NBA starting five.

Irrational confidence is required to rise to the levels NBA players do, but a dash of historical context likely would not hurt.

But don't think Cenac is this way with every challenge he comes across -- he knows his strengths even if he appears to be a little bullish on where his career may finish at least compared to some of the greatest bigs to suit up for Boston or in the NBA.

Asked if he'd get into the ring with Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla, Cenac quickly changed his tune.

"Nah, not after the video I just seen.

I ain't going to lie," said the rookie big man.

"He's a great person, great guy to be around." "He's always telling me what I need to improve on, which I like a lot.

I like when people hold me accountable and let me know what I need to do better.

I'm looking forward to being close to him." Listen to "Havlicek Stole the Pod" on: Blue Wire: https://tiny.ee/CdKp iTunes: https://tiny.ee/RK47 YouTube: https://tiny.ee/cOW3 This article originally appeared on Celtics Wire: Boston Celtics rookie Chris Cenac Jr.
