The Toronto Blue Jays made another roster adjustment on Tuesday, activating right-handed pitcher Jose Soriano and placing him on the active roster. In a corresponding move, Lazaro Estrada was optioned back to Triple-A Buffalo, just one day after being recalled.
The Blue Jays are set to deploy a six-man starting rotation, incorporating both Soriano and Taillon into the mix. The upcoming starting assignments are as follows: Wednesday features Taillon, Thursday sees Cease on the mound, Friday is Soriano's turn, and Saturday belongs to Scherzer. Additionally, there is a note that Kevin Gausman will make his first start for the Chicago Cubs against the Kansas City Royals.
