A BILLIONAIRE NHL owner has been ripped by his own hockey teams fans.
NHL fans have blasted the team owner for engraving his familys names onto the Stanley Cup.
Fans are hitting out at Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon, 54, on social media.
Dundon has engraved the names of his wife and children onto the Stanley Cup after the Hurricanes Final win against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The first two lines of the newly-engraved section now includes his wife Verushka and their five children Caden, Dax, Drew, Blake and Tagan.
Owner Dundon has a net worth of $2.3 billion, according to Forbes.

Forever etched in history, the Hurricanes captioned the post.
But fans are unhappy with Dundons disrespectful and shameful move.
Taking up two entire rows for the owners family is about the least Carolina Hurricanes thing possible.
Thats pretty gross, one fan said.
Dundon weasling his wife and all 5 of his kids on the cup is so lame...
another commented.
The Golden Knights have parted ways with head coach John Tortorella, 68, after their 4-2 Stanley Cup Finals loss.
A maximum of 55 names are permitted to be engraved on the trophy.
The Dundons names were followed by CEO Brian Fork and General Manager Eric Tulsky.
Head coach Rod BrindAmour was next with his staff filling the next six rows.
Finally, 24 player names were engraved on the trophy.
Players who made 41 regular-season appearances or dressed in uniform during the Finals are guaranteed a place on the trophy.
This meant that 38-appearance defenceman Joel Nystrom, 24, missed out after spending the rest of the season with AHL affiliate the Chicago Wolves.
