Bengals Rookie Landon Robinson Already Embracing Cincinnati Lifestyle and Work Ethic

Landon Robinson’s childhood dream of playing for the Cincinnati Bengals has become a reality. Growing up watching the team with his father, the rookie defensive tackle now finds himself donning the stripes and embracing the city with open arms.

During a recent appearance on First Word, Robinson expressed his immediate fondness for Cincinnati. “It’s a blessing to be in Cincinnati. Ever since we’ve been on break, I’ve just been in Cincinnati. I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love with a city so fast before,” he said. “I just love the people, the environment, and obviously I love the organization. But also, of course, putting in the work, going and training with the strength staff at the facility. I’ve been getting bigger, faster, stronger, and making sure I’m staying in my playbook.”

Robinson’s commitment to improvement extends beyond the practice field. He emphasized the value of training away from home, a philosophy he developed during college. “Throughout my entire college career, I thought it was always important to get away from home,” Robinson explained. “I think it’s always important to stay to the grind, stay working, and when you get away from home and really put yourself in a not super comfortable situation, you have to work and you have to get better.”

Key Analysis

Robinson’s dedication to building relationships with the Bengals’ coaching staff, front office, and fans is genuine. “I wanted to be around the coaching staff, the GM, and just get to know people,” he said about his time commitment. Despite being a seventh-round rookie, Robinson has already emerged as a role model and leader among his teammates. His work ethic was on display Wednesday when he was one of the last players to leave the field.
