Bears' Top-Ranked Rushing Attack Faces Seahawks' Stingy Defense on Monday Night Football

The Chicago Bears, with quarterback Caleb Williams at the helm, travel to Lumen Field on Monday, Nov. 2, to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and quarterback Sam Darnold in a Monday Night Football matchup.

Chicago's top-ranked rushing offense will be tested by Seattle's formidable defense in the primetime contest. Led by running back D'Andre Swift, the Bears pace the NFL with 154.3 rushing yards per game. Swift has accumulated 628 all-purpose yards this season, comprising 476 rushing yards and seven touchdowns to go with 152 receiving yards.

On the other side, the Seahawks have not surrendered a 100-yard rusher in 36 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the league, according to the Associated Press. This season, Seattle's defense ranks first in the NFL in fewest yards allowed per game (233.9) and fewest passing yards allowed per game (144.4). Last week, the Seahawks limited the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs to 213 total yards in a 20-3 victory.

Since returning from a hamstring injury, Williams has thrown for over 300 yards in back-to-back games. He completed 22 of 33 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-24 win over the New England Patriots last week.
