Azzi Fudd established herself as one of the best shooters in basketball during her career at UConn.
The Dallas Wings guard has continued to showcase her sharpshooting abilities as a rookie in the WNBA, becoming the first rookie to win the WNBA All-Star 3-Point Contest on Friday.
On Saturday, Fudd's father, Tim Fudd, announced the upcoming launch of The Azzi Fudd Shooting Academy.
The academy will teach players the same shooting methods that have helped Fudd develop into a No.
1 overall WNBA draft pick.

The Azzi Fudd Shooting Academy will launch soon.
We will teach the same shooting methods, drills, and player development that helped shape her into the 3pt champ and the #1 draft pick.
Great shooters aren't born, they're made," Fudd's father wrote on X.
Fudd Comes From a Basketball Family Both of Fudd's parents, Tim Fudd and Katie SmrckaDuffy Fudd, played college basketball.
Tim played at American University from 1991 to 1996 and then professionally in Europe.
Meanwhile, Katie was the 1997 ACC Rookie of the Year at NC State and then was a fourth-round draft pick in the 2001 WNBA Draft.
Fudd credits her parents for helping her develop into the player she is today.
Tim admitted he was nervous to watch Fudd compete in the 3-point contest.
"Yes, I got nervous.
First time ever.
I usually trust the work.
It's amazing, it's all surreal.
But this is her element, so happy to see it.
I told her before she left the hotel to just lock in," Fudd said.
