Arkansas basketball learns opponents for 2026 Baha Mar Hoops Summer League FAYETTEVILLE Arkansas basketball will face one national team, two collegiate squads from Canada and a professional team from Colombia when it travels to The Bahamas later this summer.

The Razorbacks learned their opponents for the 2026 Baha Mar Hoops Summer League on Thursday, July 2.

The event will take place July 31-Aug.

4 at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, The Bahamas.

The Hogs will play four games, beginning on July 31 against The Bahamas National Team.

According to the University of Arkansas, The Bahamas team will be made up mostly of national team players from varying age groups.

In recent years, NBA stars like Buddy Hield, Eric Gordon and DeAndre Ayton have represented the country.

Those players are joining The Bahamas this summer for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Americas Qualifiers, but it's unclear if they will play in the exhibition against Arkansas.

Arkansas will then face Carleton University on Aug.

1.

The Ravens are from Ottawa, Ontario, and they are the reigning Canadian national collegiate champion.

The third game on Aug.

3 will be against Toros del Valle, a professional team from Cali, Colombia.

They play in the Liga WPlay de Baloncesto, the premier professional basketball league in Colombia, and won the 2026 Apertura title.

The Razorbacks will wrap up the trip against the University of Calgary on Aug.

4.

Another Canadian college, Calgary also played in the 2025 Baha Mar Summer League.

Other NCAA teams participating in the Baha Mar Summer League include Cincinnati, South Carolina, Valparaiso and Texas A&M.

New NCAA rules allow college teams to take a foreign tour annually after the previous rule allowed such a trip only once every four academic years.

We will have one of, if not the, youngest teams in the nation this coming season, John Calipari said earlier this summer.

With Billy (Richmond) being the only player back from our program with significant experience, we felt like we needed a trip like this to build chemistry on and off the court.

Not only that, this will also be a great chance for our fans to experience a great destination like Baha Mar, while getting a first chance to see this years team in live action on the court.
