Now, President Donald Trump has weighed in on the conversation, but hes also sparked widespread outrage for how he discussed James.
While speaking at a recent press conference, Trump was asked where he stood in the Jordan-versus-LeBron debate following LeBrons decision to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Trump went with Jordan, but in his explanation as to why, he baselessly suggested that James could be a racist.
LeBron Signing With 76ers On Thursday, LeBron officially revealed that he will return for another NBA season and plans to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The move will make Philadelphia the fourth franchise of his career, following stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers.
