An unidentified NBA assistant coach has cast doubt on the Philadelphia 76ers' prospects following their acquisition of LeBron James, cautioning that the star-studded lineup may not mesh as seamlessly as anticipated.
The 76ers, who signed James in free agency, immediately became the favorites to win the Eastern Conference. Their starting five now features James, Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, and Joel Embiid—a collection of players capable of dominating individually.

However, the assistant coach, speaking to Fadeaway World, warned that integrating so many ball-dominant players is a significant challenge. 'I'm shocked,' the coach said. 'He's already experienced teaming up with talent before, but it's a real risky move to get Maxey, Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, Embiid and himself to co-exist and be on the same page. This isn't fantasy basketball. It's not that easy.'
The coach also expressed concerns about the pairing of James and Embiid, describing both as 'slow and old.' The assistant added, 'It's scary. It can be unstoppable. Or it can be hard to watch. They're both slow and old. When you get tired, and you drain the clock and are methodical and just isoing with brute force when you're not young, spry and athletic, that can look awful. Everyone is just standing around. And then you end up falling down because you're old.'
