The college football season is in full swing, and the weekly troll jobs from winning squads remain a hot topic. One of the most notable came from Alabama, which continued its strong start with a 56-23 victory over Mississippi State.
Crimson Tide quarterback Keelon Russell excelled, passing for 285 yards and three touchdowns while adding another score on the ground. The Alabama defense intercepted Bulldogs star quarterback Kamario Taylor twice and forced four Mississippi State turnovers overall.
After the game, Alabama took to social media to troll its hosts in Starkville, posting 'Not enough cowbells' in reference to Davis Wade Stadium's famous cowbell tradition.

The Crimson Tide's jab was one of several shots teams took at their opponents after wins. Here are the top trolls from Week 5 of college football.
Houston trailed UCF 17-0 in the third quarter but eventually found its rhythm, coming from behind to secure a Big 12 win. The victory gave Houston more than just conference bragging rights. Due to both schools' locations and ties to the aerospace industry, the Cougars and Knights have long contested the 'Space U' tagline. After the game, Houston staked its claim with a social media post.

It wasn't the prettiest offensive display, but Air Force did what it needed to secure a win in the race for the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy. Quarterback Liam Szarka ran in both Falcons scores, posting 81 rushing yards on 25 carries. Air Force went for a simple but effective jab after the win, ribbing its fellow service academy with a 'Sank 'em' tagline.

An ACC thriller between the Panthers and Hokies went down to the wire on Friday night, with the game not decided until the final play. Virginia Tech lined up a last-second field goal to win, but it sailed wide, and Pitt secured the victory to remain undefeated. The Panthers had a couple of trolls ready for their hosts after the game -- one via an 'Exit Night' caption referencing Lane Stadium's iconic 'Enter Sandman' tradition, and two more referencing rapper Bankroll Fresh's song 'Take Over Your Trap.'

Liberty picked up a Friday night win over Delaware in convincing fashion, building a 30-0 lead in a performance that saw the Flames rack up 282 rushing yards on 47 attempts. After the win, Liberty took aim at the Fightin' Blue Hens nickname of its defeated foe, posting a graphic reading 'NO CRUMBS,' with the text above an image of Liberty's eagle mascot holding a bucket of 'Delaware Fried Chicken.' The post was captioned 'Cleaned the plate.'
