Alabama Lands In-State Offensive Lineman Xavier Endicott for 2027 Class

Alabama added its 16th verbal commitment to the 2027 recruiting class on Monday when offensive lineman Xavier Endicott announced his pledge through the school's NIL entity, Yea Alabama.

Endicott, a 6-foot-4 center from Oxford, Alabama, held only one other Division I offer from UT Martin before Alabama entered the picture last week. Offensive line coach Adrian Klemm has spearheaded his recruitment.

The program hosted Endicott for a gameday visit over the weekend, where he witnessed Alabama's 31-20 victory over Texas A&M. He received a scholarship offer shortly before kickoff and wasted little time committing to his hometown team.

Endicott becomes the second offensive lineman in the class, joining three-star recruit Stafford Willis, a fellow Alabama native. Despite starting the season with a smaller class, Kalen DeBoer and his staff continue to address key positions to build depth across the roster.

Key Analysis

Endicott's commitment reflects Alabama's focus on securing in-state talent and strengthening the offensive line for the future. With only one other Division I offer prior to the Crimson Tide's interest, Endicott's potential may have been underrated, and his addition provides valuable depth at the center position. The coaching staff's proactive approach in identifying and offering him during his visit underscores their evaluation strategy.
