According to People's Erin Clack, Sandler "said yes right away" when offered the role in the wedding ceremony and was "incredibly honored to be part of such a special day." Sandler also wanted to "speak from the heart and pass along a little wisdom that he's gained from his own happy marriage" to Swift and Kelce, per Clack.

Swift and Kelce tied the knot on Friday in front of over 1,000 guests including NFL stars Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, Baker Mayfield, George Kittle, Cooper Kupp and Trent McDuffie.
The couple first went public with their relationship in 2023 and eventually announced their engagement in Aug.
