The Pittsburgh Steelers have more than a few doubters to prove wrong in 2026, and that includes one former Green Bay Packers teammate of Aaron Rodgers.
In an episode of the NFL Daily Podcast, former Packer and current Carolina Panthers long snapper J.J.
Jansen blasted the Steelers as "uninteresting" before predicting a ceiling of 9-8 or 10-7 during the 2026 season.
I just dont know that the teams all that interesting, especially when you consider that divisions also got the Bengals and the Ravens ," Jansen said.
"..
I still feel like they are a 9-8 team.
Theyre going to beat some teams that they shouldnt, and theyre going to lose some games that they shouldnt.
I would certainly trust the ball in Aarons hand in the fourth quarter, but its just an uninteresting 9-8, 10-7, 7-10 kind of team for me.
The Steelers have been getting slammed left and right by disrespect over the past several weeks, from Jansen's comments to ESPN's roster rankings.
It's almost absurd how many within the NFL continue to overlook Pittsburgh's roster, which one could argue is one of the most complete in the league.
