The Philadelphia 76ers stunned the NBA world when the team landed future Hall of Famer LeBron James for the veteran minimum.
Just a day later, the team continued building around its new star with a former teammate of James' and a two-time NBA champion.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported Philadelphia is signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope after he completed a buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies.
"The Grizzlies and Caldwell-Pope's agent, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul, finalized the buyout Saturday, allowing him to join Philadelphia and giving the Sixers a veteran wing shooter and defender just one day after the team signed LeBron James to shake up the Eastern Conference," Charania reported.

Before suffering the season-ending injury, Caldwell-Pope averaged 8.4 points, 2.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds over 21.3 minutes in 51 games for the Grizzlies.
The figures were his fewest minutes and points per game since his rookie year.
Caldwell-Pope won an NBA title with James on the Lakers during the NBA's bubble before adding another title to his belt with the Denver Nuggets in 2023.
