4 Texas A&M stars earn All-America honors from D1Baseball

4 Texas A&M stars earn All-America honors from D1Baseball Texas A&M baseball's future under coach Michael Earley isn't set in stone, but after leading the Aggies to the NCAA Tournament during his second season at the helm after missing the postseason in 2025, significant progress was made, and after several staff moves, including the return of recruiting ace and catchers coach Nolan Cain, Earley deserves credit for his aggressive approach.

After firing pitching coach Jason Kelley, Earley hired MLB pitching coach/coordinator Barry Enright, whose intriguing development background has aided in landing six pitchers in the transfer portal, all possessing MLB potential, while the Aggies hope to return starting pitchers Aiden Sims, Shane Sdao, and Weston Moss, who would benefit from playing under Enright.

For the final time this offseason, D1Baseball released its All-America team, as four Aggie stars from the 2026 roster earned recognition.

First baseman Gavin Grahovac and junior outfielder Caden Sorrell earned second-team honors, while junior reliever Clayton Freshcorn made the third team, and, announced late last month, starting third baseman Nico Partida secured first-team All-America status.

Here are the final stats for each Texas A&M All-American: - Gavin Grahovac 57 appearances, .339/.429/.722 slash line, 22 home runs, 74 RBIs, 16 doubles, three triples, 26 walks, 45 strikeouts and 13 hit by pitches - Caden Sorrell 56 appearances, 341/.434/.743 slash line, 23 home runs, 76 RBIs, 20 doubles and 11 stolen bases, and totaled one triple, 33 walks, and 61 strikeouts - Clayton Freshcorn 27 appearances, 4-3 record, 2.82 ERA, 1.05 WHIP over 54.1 innings with 56 strikeouts and six walks, combined with 12 saves - Nico Partida 49 appearances, .306/.408/.550 slash line, 12 home runs, 43 RBIs, eight doubles, 29 walks, 40 strikeouts and four stolen bases Before losing to USC in the College Station Regional, Texas A&M finished with a 41-16 record and will look to get back to the NCAA Tournament next year with a reloaded roster led by rising sophomores Jorian Wilson, Boston Kellner, and, of course, Nico Partida, as Caden Sorrell and Gavin Grahovac are expected to depart for the 2026 MLB Draft.
