Bishop Gorman boys basketball rising senior Kameron Cooper announced his verbal college commitment to Kansas State on Tuesday on his social media accounts.
Cooper is listed as a four-star class of 2027 prospect by 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 175 pound small forward had other Division I offers from TCU, UNLV, Xavier, Wichita State and Utah Tech.
Cooper is the son of Kansas State assistant coach John Cooper, who spent three seasons as an assistant at UNLV (2022-25).
John Cooper joined the Kansas State staff this spring.
As junior last year, Kameron Cooper was a first-team All-Southern Nevada selection while helping the Gaels reach the Class 5A state semifinals.
Cooper is one of two Nevada class of 2027 prospects rated by 247Sports.
Four-star Coronado small forward Munir Greig is the states top recruit and No.
79 overall prospect in the country.
