KICK-OFF LUNCHEON: The 20th annual East Texas Kick-Off Luncheon is set for 11:30 a.m.
on Tuesday, July 28 at the W.T.
Brookshire Conference Center in Tyler.
Guest speaker for the event will be Longview High School head football coach and athletic director John King.
Emcee for the event is Bryan Houston, CMC Neptune and Neptune Game time.
The event is open to the public.
Tickets are $50 for Chamber members and $55 for non-menters (open seating).
Reserved tables for 10 are $500.

ORANGE OCCASION RETURNS: The Oklahoma State Alumni Association has announced An Orange Occasion is set for Tuesday, July 28 at The Cascades Golf & Country Club, 4511 Briarwood Road, Tyler 75709.
Doors will open and food will be available at 6 p.m.
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The guest this year will be Barry Hinson, associate athletic director and director of NIL for OSU Athletics.
The group will also recognize local students who will be incoming OSU freshmen in the fall.
Freshmen in attendance will receive a Bound for Stilly yard sign and will be entered to win one of two $500 scholarships.
The students must be in attendance to win, he added.
Tickets are available for $35.
Incoming OSU freshmen are free.
All tickets include heavy hors doeuvres and nonalcoholic beverages.
A cash bar will be available.

KC SOFTBALL COMBINE: Kilgore College Softball will host two Prospect Combines this summer at the Ballpark at KC Commons, providing student-athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills and gain exposure to the Lady Rangers coaching staff.
Combine 1 is July 23, and Combine 2 is Aug.

The combines are open to players in graduating classes 2025 through 2031 and are designed to evaluate athletes in a competitive, instructional setting.
Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in multiple areas of the game while working directly with Kilgore College coaches.
Cost is $100 per combine, and athletes should bring a glove, helmet, bat, turf shoes, cleats, tennis shoes, water bottle and appropriate softball attire.

KC HALL OF FAME: Kilgore College will honor former athletes, coaches and contributors during its annual Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, set for Sept.
25-26.
The weekend will begin with a benefit golf tournament on Friday, Sept.
25, at Tempest Golf Club in Gladewater.
The Hall of Fame Induction Brunch is set for 10 a.m.
on Saturday, Sept.
26, in the Devall Ballroom on the Kilgore campus.
The weekend will also include recognition of the 1960 national championship football teams diamond anniversary, as well as the 25th anniversary of the Rangers undefeated 2001 season.
